Ah yes, I saw that. I agree It does look cool, inaccurate or not, to me it almost looks oriental in some ways.

It must be this beard-thing?
Yeah, I think so, this one especially makes me think of the samurai (apart from the top bit):

Now that is nice! Where did you get that? Confusedhock: 8)
That isnt actually the one Jyrki has, take a look at his thread in the greek section.
Couldn't find it! But where is that one from? Manning Imperial?
Ok found the thread!

Quote:So, Special thank to comitatus menbers. Indeed, regrettably we do not still know but I know your reenacting work and its quality. I also hope that we can meet one day.

Vos tuniques sont très bonnes. We must 'fly the flag' (draco?) together for the Late Roman army. I too hope we may meet together as comrades :-) )

Quote:Ha, good questions Faventianus.

first, the ptèruges shoulders of Geta was very badly made. We removed them. I think he will not wear it any more. On the place, I am making him a ruffle of scale just like the armatus soldier of Holy Marie Majeur of Rome which he will fix to his mail shirt. As me, his amatura should not change any more.

The Helmet of Der El Medineh which made Arbatio is a helmet of exhibition. He has no internal lining. Anthemius concerned him a photo but we see that it did not adjust.
Cool, can't wait to see those new shoulder guards!

About the helmet, I assume it has the correct measures, I didn't know it was that big! Confusedhock:

Thanx for the info Damianus, and laus too.
