I would STRONGLY advise AGAINST ever putting a sword resting on the ground like you have in the 3rd photo. It's extremely bad for the blade.

Very nice and scenes evoking.

Just to show how LS should look....front and back pics....both worn with a homemade/made up Subarmalis.
Notice the Ventralis in operation to support the back and pad out the Armour. Not Archeologically proven......but works well in re-enactment.. Gives the Seggies the "flare" on the hips....this is a Corbridge A.
