Fair enough. I see your point.

The reason I mentioned the brass manica is because Matt Lukes made one for me in C230 brass to go along with the plumata that Erik Schmid is making for me since the brass used in the plumata is also C230.

Another picture from the Lunt event, which was poorly attended by one and all. Just love the paunch effect mail has.

Rain was pretty heavy on the drive down, but we practiced some new and interesting manouvers, which will hopefully be incorporated into our displays eventually! Was good fun!
Also a good picture of Savrvs!

A gift for Boudicca and the other visitors!
Excellent impression, Adrian and, may I say, excellent Hadrianic beards - that's commitment! 8)
Ade, that impression is in my top 5 favourites ever! Really superb.

Byron, your's looks good too. Those DSC hamata hooks never seem to remain closed, do they Smile
Thanks for the kind comments!

Yeah! Righto!

Well, with 2 tunics and a subarmalis tailored for a seg, I'll stick with my story.  (and the belt line from my braccae)

BTW where is Caballos pics?
Excellent stuff Ade, Mark and Byron. Will you be selling beards Ade (and perhaps small packets of gravel)?
Great photos, it's like time travelling.

one question about the Theilenhofen-helmet (I'm from Munich, where this thing is usually shown): is the question whether that helmet had a frontal guard or not already solved?

Saluete omnes,
here it is a photo of our group, Decima Legio, during his first mission (marching and camp) last month.
Our work is pointed to the reconstruction of the roman republican army.
