Uh-ohh!! Look's like causualties were high on our side.....hope the enemy were even worse off!! Great pictures!!
enemy has been broken, the truth we have had greater losses
Here one picture taken past Sunday at Tarraco Viva event. I have added one of the fabulous crests make by Adrian Wink/ Peroni ( http://www.armamentaria.com ). And of course, i have used my new Mainz sword.

Britannia at Birdoswald Foman fort this weekend (huge crowds that really got involved in the action).

Lovely site, lovely showground - here a Saxon raider gets a gentle reminder  that he's on someone else's territory - a combat near the Western gate of the fort.
My son (8) in his new role as draconarius with the brand new Fectio draco, last Sunday.

NIce looking dragon, and a very brave looking draconarius! Did you make the dragon head, or buy it elsewhere?

Aren't they just? Big Grin We bought the draco from Stefan Jaroschinski (Jyrki has it's brother, and I believe Comitatus have the first one). I wish I could make somethig like that.
Here is mine, sorry for the lame wind  !

A few more later Empire shots from Birdoswald - Hadrian's Wall, last weekend.

Do I see some new equipment there?
Cesar,

That's a nice photo of your armor. The plates on your shoulder pieces blend in very nicely with the others.
I hope to add similar shoulder pieces to my own shirt. Maybe I should search through the old threads and
see if you posted more detailed pictures of your squamata. And your modified Mainz hilt looks wonderful.

Marcus,

You have the best pteruges I've seen. The way they hang makes them look durable without looking stiff.
Well done. 8)

That'd be telling

We've been photographed a lot strutting in our gladiatorial stuff... but we haven't been idle at our later Empire spectrum... just not been out in it much.
Our curraghs outing this weekend at Gloucester docks... here Pegasus is about to ram Triton! (Much to the applause of the 20,000 people standing on the dockside! )
I'm sure Romano-Brits wouldn't have larked about like this  but then they didn't have a sick British audience encouraging them!
