How 'late?'
ThirdC baldrics are around 4-5cm wide at the decorative end, narrowing to a simple leather thong to tie to the back of the phalera. 4thC baldrics seem to be narrow for the entire length (1-2cm?). In the Late Period waist belts are also seen, alongside baldrics.
