IDEA:
Jasper will you be able to provide some badges with:
- avatar, in place of individual photo
- nick name
- true name
so everyone will easily recognize each member of RAT?

That could be done, I suppose.

Hm. The idea is good, but we are not so many people that it would really matter. And after the get-together on friday we can be sure to know each other... And while we sit in the Andechser, the badges will be hardly visible for everyone anyway...
So, only if it´s not much work and done within five minutes...

Well, I´ll move my lecture up so that we have no unnecessary breaks, and can use the time afterwards to do sthg else.

Right, my plans have *finally* coalesced into something tangible.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to be with you on Friday evening. I'm arriving Saturday in the early morning. I'm booked into the Jakoberhof (see you there, Luca).
My presentation is more or less ready to go (will you need/want an actual written-up version? I only have a list of talking points and inscriptions right now). I'll be finishing up in the days before while I am in southern Germany already. It can be given without any visual aids, but a blackboard, whiteboard or overhead projector would be nice to present some of the epigraphy.
Very much looking forward to that, and strongly in favour of a Munich visit to see the museums there - never been yet.

I apologize, but yesterday I renounced to the meeting due to family troubles. I sent a PM to Jasper and caiustarquitius for this.
It was my big wish to be there, but, you know, the family requires my presence and it has higher "priority".
I'm interested a lot in the readings and I hope you will share them after the meeting.

Hi,
Working on my presentation I'm narrowing down my subject somewhat. So the new title is: First century AD gladii and other militaria from cult places in Northern Gaul. Otherwise the scope of the original subject would grow over my head.
My presentation will be a powerpoint-presentation, so I need to know if there's a beamer (data-projector) available.
See you there,
Hans
