The costume book is in process; Larissa Bonfante has written her introduction; Judy Sebesta has written her chapter on fabric and color; and I am working on the patterns. It has been delayed while I finished the revision of English Grammar for Students of Latin, which had to go<br>
to the printer before any of the costume work could be addressed. As of today all of the last minute macrons have been added, and I think I can turn my attention full time to costumes, patterns, and footwear.<br>

Carol van Driel Murray has had serious personal problems in the past year with the death of her mother and husband in the same week, and she is now recovered from the shock and sadness of these two blows coming so quickly together, and she has sent me a fine new book that she and several of her colleagues have already published on the subject of<br>
