Check out the "Mini Mainz" blade in the Albion Swords Moat Sale section---halway down that page. This would be more suitable for a dagger perhaps, but it has that "leaf blade" feel to it.
They have one in bronze too (near the top of that page) but the bronze casting, I am informed by Mat Amt, is rediculously overthickened and would need a significant amount of stock removal in oreder to make it resemble a sword. Matt guessed it was 3 pounds!.
Just some ideas...
