Salvete Omnes,
My lecture proposal (if the date of the conference suits me) would be:
Gladiators: origins of the gladiatorial games, types of gladiators, how they were seen by the Roman society.

Eckhard Deschler-Erb has just inquired about the Conference.
Christian, I have directed him to you.
All, I won't be attending this time, but wish all the very best! This is a great beginning. It would be nice if the papers could be published in time for the debut of JAMS vol I, although at the glacial rate Brill is moving...
Cheers,

Since I doubt the Brit Museum or anyone else has something, how about a paper on the helmet methodology? I couldn't present it, I don't think. Too bad you can't do Webex.
