Hang on a moment, did you say you MADE the hobnails? I seem to remember thread after thread chasing down how such hobnails are made and who could do them. (aren't we still waiting on someone?) Can you expound on how you did that? That topic is worth a full thread by itself.

Yes, made them myself by hand from old shoemaker's heel nails, but those are pretty small ones, around 5-6 mm head diameter. I can of course explain how I did them if you are interested, give me a week or two, please. Have a few other things to do first ...
We are actually on our way to make shoenails of bigger sizes within this year but that will still take a bit of time. Anyway, making those for selling would certainly turn out way too expensive.
