Herculaneum Soldiers Money Belt?
#1
Watching one of these history channel type programs the other day, they mentioned that the Roman soldier found at Herculaneum had a "money belt". Does anyone know whether this was a typical TV history inaccuracy, or whether this is accurate? If accurate, does anyone have any info on this "money belt"? I haven't been able to find it mentioned anywhere else.

There is a belt with silver bracteat plates, the centre of which is circular and has motives similar to coins. Maybe that´s what they were talking about.
