If you click here you'll see a really cool display of the Shah's soldiers marching in ancient Persian garb. But you have to drag the needle until it says 21:50 since the video runs 45 minutes long.

Had the Shah not been overthrown maybe there would be an interest in reenactment today in Iran.

I was surprised I couldn't find the actual tape of the whole thing on YouTube, only an excerpt that's embedded in this TV documentary.

I think they showed part of that on the history channel. This brings back memories from school, how they taught us to hate the achemenids, during the greek simulation.
