Well, don't get all sad. I was just reacting in thread. I never said anything about those reliefs...

I'm easily confused :? , but Jim's anti-FAKE helmets crusade has overtaken the original topic and it was not that clear what you were referring to. If anyone has better pics of the relief, I'd very much like to see them.

By the way can you tell me where you got the photos of the relief ?

I took these fotos some years ago myself. Even not digital, the originals are of quite good quality regarding the prohibition of flash in the Berlin-Museums.
But as I understand I have to stay within the size limits to post it here.
I´ve already logged in at photobucket.com but my PC has problems with this site.
As soon as I manage these problems I will provide better pictures for the Image-database.

That's very good news.

I spent the morning in Glasgow Uni library looking for pics of the relief, but could only find the rough sketch in Reinach's 'Reliefs Grecs et Romains' vol. 2.
