#1
Dear friends. I am looking for some references about the helmet the Pegaso figure "Magister Militum" wears. This my version of it, but i didn't have enough photos for the helemt he wears. So could someone post any photos about the helmet? Please?
thanks

It is a poor interpretation of the Berkasovo I helmet. 8)

It\'s all an accident, an accident of hands. Mine, others, all without mind, from one extreme to another, but neither works nor will ever.

thanks my friend. It didn't have any leather straps around the metal joints of the neck guard and chick pieces?

Periklis - try a search on RAT. I am sure there will be more pictures and comments on this. Just type Berkasovo in the search engine (top left of screen) and check out the threads.

Hi Periklis,
In fact, all the elements with a row of holes following the border had a leather guttering sewn through those holes, probably using leather straps as stitching material. Look at the only surviving example on the neckguard of the strange Garara helmet:

The Berkasovo helmets don't preserve any leather because it rot away many centuries ago (BTW, the cheek-pieces are misplaced towards the rear on the pics I post, they should go flush with the narrow hinge-protectors over them! )
