Sorry for late reply. Yes I do make them ,and to order, and I never make the same sword twice,ie: scabbards, handles ect. The ones in the pictures are part of a project for which I have done 2 years of research and have 7 more to make hence my posting for a bit help. All the swords are hand made so you can guess they take a age to make. The cost of the swords varyies from £400+ but these are made to clients order.Other wise I price each sword individualy, I also told the client I would not make Ring Pommel cavalry swords for any one else with it being his project ,and to my knowledge the only ones in the UK. At the moment I am a bit fully booked with the above and other swords and kit

Thanks for all the interest , Regards Brennivs

Brennius, are you that auxiliary with a falx and a chopped hand and head hanging from the cingulum?

That is actually quite an informative shot! Gives you an idea of how the falx could hook the top of the scutum, while the wielder stays out of gladius range. This leads to a wide range of possible attacks on the poor legionary!
