Looking for a German word.

Hello everyone,

When I talk to friends of mine in Germany, the only word I can think of to use for reenacting is Krieg Spielen, is there a German word to describe reenacting?

Germans also do use the word "Reenactment".
Right here there are the same problems like in GB or USA to devide "Reenactment" = (Reenactment), "Living History" = Lebendige Geschichte / Living History and science (i guess it's nearly same in english than in german) = experimentelle Archäologie.

We often use the verb "darstellen" instead of reenact.

You could say also "historische Darstellung."

I love the ample amount of cognates and adopted words between English and German.
