The blade is modern damascus. Nothing the Romans ever used or even knew how to make. Costly and most inaccurate..

and it is an acquired taste of course! i would love to see a proper copy of the real FULHAM type btw!!
i like the shape of that blade, as with the MAINZ.......
however there is one sword type which has my soul......
and its not Western..........
