I could say this and that, but the overall effect is very striking and worth posting.
cocobolo fittings?!?! Confusedhock:
Very pretty! Too bad there are no grooves on the grip!
a bit over the top if you ask me, but nice in a gothicy way.........

Hmm the designs on the hilt seem Celtic in some ways.
Very nice...

But i think not very acurate or close to any original one
The blade is modern damascus. Nothing the Romans ever used or even knew how to make. Costly and most inaccurate.. Confusedhock:
I personally can't stand damascus...it's like the mesh stalkings hookers wear of metals.
I will second that and add the following:

Nothing, but absolutely Nothing beats this...................

Well, as I said, I could point things out, but I decided not to. The overall effect was what I was talking about.

(like, it's not like the Fulham...)

Nice craftsmanship though.
oh yes indeed it looks well crafted!

and it is an acquired taste of course! i would love to see a proper copy of the real FULHAM type btw!!

i like the shape of that blade, as with the MAINZ.......

however there is one sword type which has my soul......

and its not Western..........

M.VIB.M.
Yes, the mainz in my favorite too! Something about the shape of the blade I guess! Smile
