Well he bends them... at the elbow.. Probably using his biceps muscles, like you do to bend your elbow.<br>

Thanks all for the compliments. There maybe more but since indeed I am not a professional I can only do it when I'm inspired and that is not very often. Besides it takes me some time to do this, again, contrary to a pro.<br>
About the figure. He looks a tad short but they all do, due to the cuirass. It's obviously inspired by the Dura and other frescoes and paintings depicting hooded soldiers.
