Never! I will always resist the 'hijacking' or the Christian Era. It's what it is, and using the same dates but referring to it as the 'Common Era' or whater is the PC description is but a sad way to get out of a non-discussion. Those who do not want to use Christian dating or terminology, let them create their own dating system is what I say. The good old AUC system, or maybe the founding of America, or one of the gazillion significant dates in history.
