Hello all.
Does anyone have any evidence as to the method the Franks or Germans may have used to attach the axe head to the shaft on a Francesca Type II throwing axe. I have an Albion axe head and would like to affix it properly to the shaft. I'm having trouble finding sources. the simplest method would be a tapered shaft but I would like it be be correct. Thanks
Gary
