My wife is an excellent shot and owns (like everyone else in this state) a .357 magnum "Dirty Harry".
However, its not my wife that I fear, its the cats... Every morning I get the claws in the back routine and physically forced out of bed to feed the brutes. I keep asking when will the cycle of violence end?

Maybe you should learn to shoot the .357 Ralph ... then the cats might go "Missing" one day??

But cats have 9 lives so you'd need 9 rounds per cat at least ... if the cat had friends, you'd need 9 more rounds for each of them, then backup ammo in case you missed (or didn't get a clean hit ...) it's starting to get expensive ...

did you ever see the video of the "pulsating knife" ??
same MO woman gets angry with husband, slips and hits him, butcher's knife went into his chest, and stopped with only the tip embedded in his heart... so they ran him off to hospital... on the video you see the guy laying on the stretcher, and the knife sticking out of his chest moves whenever his heart beats....
pretty scary! but he survived....
The Chinese woman probably will be shot for her action.... silly country...
any country with the death penalty for that matter........

But I fear that if The Cats sensed anything like a Cataline conspiracy, I would be catapulted from the parapets in a concatenation of catastrophic events. I must follow Cato's stoic approach, seeking solace in the verse of Catullus, knowing this will subject me to jeers and catcalls.
Besides, my heavily armed wife categorically would caterwaul about anything that might upset the wittle wookemses.
