Egypt to excavate Roman city submerged in sea

I took a chance, and using the description of the site from the article, I zoomed in on Google Earth. Could the Roman city be what we're seeing here? The line above the marker is a 35 km long line from the exit of the Suez Canal, based on the article.

Maybe someone familiar with this area could comment? I'm posting the image, and a Google Earth file.
