Just got off the phone with my "highly placed source." He said, once again, that the books were sitting in the UK office, but had as yet not been unpacked. Now my experience with UK booksellers is that they tend to take things at a leisurely pace, so who knows, maybe it will be a "fortnight" or so before they actually get in the mail.
But the books do exist, they are finished, and, as MB notes, the wait will soon be over.

I wonder how this publishing with the growth of the reenactor community and the internet, will differ from the previous editions? Sales going to be higher and the books move faster?

I just spoke to Oxbow UK to check the status of my order, and they expect it to be available to process and send within the week.

I did pop in a few years a go to get some JRMES.
Its not quite what I expected as it feels more like a second hand bookshop, tucked away at the back of the building up a long flight of fire escape type steps. It felt quite subversive :lol:
I will be a good boy & wait for posting.
