We were just talking about this over on the Bronze Age Center. The "reconstruction" is obviously pathetic, but the scales themselves are fascinating. They could easily be older than noted, though the "provenance" is stupid. London is a known pipeline for looted antiquities and has been for years. There is stuff like this for sale all over the place, and no way to ever find out just where it came from or how old it might be. Not all of the antiquities trade is like that! This is just one example of the bad end of it.
