Aalen Pugio Sheath
#1
Hello everyone!

Does anyone have information about the Aalen pugio sheath? I can guess a few things but I am pretty much everything about pugios is new for me.
My guesses are:

- Sheath type: A (front and back fully covered in metal. Suspension rings directly connected to sheath)
- Period: 15 BC - 50 AD
- Symbols: Laurel, semicircles (moon), cypress tree
- Material: Iron
- Inlay: Brass

I found out that the sheath is in the Limesmuseum in Aalen. I contacted them but I haven't received an reply yet.
