I would not carry caltrops they bleeding lethal :twisted: stabed myself on mine a few times :woot:

My Oxford Classical dictionary, Connolly's Greece and Rome at War and Goldsworthy's Roman army are failing me here - was the Latin for caltrop tribulus?
