I also agree with Brian's assesment on the rosette.
As I have noted earlier (I think) the brow band is too wide much too wide when looking at the reproduction and comparing it to the original. The reason this is being done on the reproduction is because the bowl is too long/deep from the top near the crest holder to the front bottom edge. This can be seen when looking at the exaggerated distance between the top of the rosettes near the ear guards and the bottom of the reinforcing peak.
I know that in the original the reinforcing peak is missing. However, careful examination and observation reveals certain details that do not necessarily require ALL the parts
