We used shields like the one pictured (though with plain bosses) at Lafe last year, as the scenario called for Marines to be in the camp. We used plain bosses because the ones supplied were deeply dished and made from 16ga steel. It would have taken enormous labor to repousse' that metal...and I was too a)unskilled and b)lazy.
