Hello
I have NO idea what I am doing in August yet but I am certainly very interested in your well experiment. I spent the Spring of 2011 helping to re-construct a water lifting wheel based on evidence from excavations in London http://www.ancienttechnologycentre.co.uk...fting.html I have also been researching the water lifting wheel in the gold mines at Dolaucothi (Luentinum) in Wales (photograph shown is the wheel not at the correct scale, second photograph shows the fragment of wood from the site and indicates a MUCH bigger water lifting machine). I would very much like to hear more about your experiment!
