Thanks for the reply.

Have some few pics on my FB page. I'll link it in a bit. I am also doing a large scale, scale armor build and a hand and a half sword. I am not a reenactor, but a metal guy. I like forging and thought it would be fun to do some armor.

I plan to do a gladius in a few months too.

I was kinda planning to wear it over something like a red sweatshirt with the sleeves cut off. I know that might make you cringe, but I plan on the armor being good at least.

I will make it generous for padded clothing underneath.

Haha that all looks great! Try and copy what you see Smile It's suggested you make the brass work first, keep us posted Smile

I should probably do that. The brass work seems to be the tough part after all.

I also have to find the right plate for turning copper wire into rivets also. Nothing too hard there.
