Introducing my new Cavalry horse....
#16
A beautiful animal Claire. Congratulations!

I have a new animal myself actually and like yours she still has a lot of growing to do. I'm not entirely sure of the exact breed at this stage but she has somewhat pointy ears and slightly striped, slightly dappled hind quarters. Like your new horse she has spent her life to this point living outside and is still a bit shy so I suspect she will be very difficult to train. Also, at just on ten inches, along with a penchant for hiding behind the cooker at this stage, I doubt she will ever be much good for cavalry use.

I too look forward to seeing how the horse progresses over the next few months. Keep us posted!

Gosh - scary prospect!

No - thankfully I do not yet have a cavalry cat. For the time being the cold war standoff between the one eyed Bengal-cross kitten and the offended nine year old tabby is enough to be getting on with.

In any case, I'd hate to see what the litter tray would look like after the horse had finished with it.

Right - back to the matter at hand: Claire's lovely new horse.

Here is another pic taken in week 2 of her time in the school getting used to being led and generally learning about the concept of respect and manners...

There nice pictures and her stable mate is a bit of a rare one for they are mainly skewbald must be loads of fun with them two.

She seems to have grown quite a bit already. Looking good
Moi Watson

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, Merlot in one hand, Cigar in the other; body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO, what a ride!

She's starting to look a proper half and half - balanced features of each breed I think. She's very quiet and pretty chilled now and the only thing thats taking a bit of time to get right is getting her to pick up the back fit so I can clean them and they can be trimmed...

She settled in with the other baby very well... she's lovely
