Thanks everyone! My fingers have now just about recovered from punching holes and stitching.

Matt, my helmet is Imperial Gallic type 'F'. It was hand made for me some years ago by White Rose Armoury and as a hand made item there are one or two little variations from the pattern, such as the neck guard being slightly off-centre. It was modelled on the example found at Bescansion but in order to minimise the cost I opted from brass decoration rather than silver as had been used on the original. It should be admitted that when White Rose made the helmet they only had the two photos of the helmet in Robinson to work from and so it differs from the original in more ways than intended. Due to the extra photos which helpful RAT members took of the original in the museum when we were all working to improve the Deepeeka range, the present Deepeeka version is actually more accurate in its overall shape and features to the original than mine, although being made by a skilled armourer mine is probably better quality.

Regarding the sword, as you can see I need to adjust the length the baldric as the squamata is closer fitting than my segmentata and thus the sword is hanging rather too low. I have a few more pictures to upload for my 'how-to' thread on the sword and scabbard, but I have to take it all apart again at some stage to tin the brass parts, so I may leave it until then.
