BBC Radio 4 has sneaked out a radio version of Lindsey Davis' first Falco book, Silver Pigs (it contains soldiers so qualifies for inclusion here ;-). The publicity has been positively underwhelming and I only heard it because I'm working at home listening to the radio at the moment. Listen again to the first episode here (you'll need RealPlayer; Auntie Beeb's experiments with ogg vorbis have sadly died a death)
Subsequent 3 episodes can be heard on Radio 4 at 11.30 gmt every Friday, or caught via the R4 listen again facility. IMHO it works well on the radio (better than that ghastly film, anyway).
