Late Roman scabbard

As it's turned out rather nicely, thought I'd share some pics of the scabbard that I've just made for Cheyenne/Claire. The mouth and slide are based on examples from Illerup, the chape on one illustrated in Dixon and Southern who's name escapes me at the moment. Ash core, lined with felt and then ox-blood stained veg-tan over cordwork.
Quite pleased, and so is she...judging by the squealing.
