BBC Mag on Reenactors, Herculaneum
#1
The Sept 03 BBC History mag has several Roman & reenactor interest articles. In 'Call to Arms' they note how reenacting is broadening to include more civilians in all historical eras, and broadening beyond exclusively military.
Good article too on the preservation of Herculaneum thanks to the Packard folks, and a bit on why it will be two years before they go another level down in the Villa of the Papyrii.
Legio XX
