The Sept 03 BBC History mag has several Roman & reenactor interest articles. In 'Call to Arms' they note how reenacting is broadening to include more civilians in all historical eras, and broadening beyond exclusively military.<br>

Good article too on the preservation of Herculaneum thanks to the Packard folks, and a bit on why it will be two years before they go another level down in the Villa of the Papyrii. <p>Legio XX<br>
