There are several options to make a Aquila this time my brother stopped his attention to the option of model head to the right of the eagle with outstretched wings.

This Aquila is his own (Jordan) original and creative project.On this option my brother depict lightning on Jupiter which is symbol strength and power of the Roman legions

What size is this? 500 grams is a manageable weight, even on a pole.

These archaeological sites clearly shows the positioning of Aquila.
1ST 3RD CE Bas-relief detail on a Roman sarcophagus from the Via delle Cave di Pietralate near Portonaccio, Italy. Museo Nazionale Romano, Rome, Italy- head to the right of the eagle with outstretched wings.

4.5 kg is more like what I had thought. 500 grams would mean it was cast hollow, like a bronze statue. That's not a bad idea, though, if it could be managed. Harder to cast, but easier to carry.:wink:

The new wax Capricorn with а hole(тhe hole is required for the pole of the signum) on which my and my brother was worked (on a private order ).There are over 300 flakes scale to make Smile.Wax model is completed ! I have done all technical work on a my brother Jordan creative project. It was very difficult to work with this wax Capricorn! The wax is get warms and softens constantly! So I have to working in a cold room. The wax is getting warm for 15 minutes from the warmth of my hand. I have to keep it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes thenSmile. However .To be made I was used 5 types of wax!
