Wax modeling and casting of our models!
#1
The idea for establishing our reenacting club in Dobrich-Bulgaria acquire competed appearance in August this year!
We are sill not fully equipped as firs century Roman legionary soldiers but we hope with goods help since the beginning of the spring 2011 to be completely ready for action!
Since we were very busy with so many other things, we try to do something in order to draw us near to the appearance of roman soldiers, their commanders, standards and some other things we were able to help ourselves!
I told it may be interesting for you if we share here how we are preparing for our future participations and of course Comments are most welcome!
This is some of my wax work over the expression of Medusa-Gorgona.

My brother find this image somewhere in our books and he asked me to create wax model of it!
It was not easy as I have no experience modeling things like this but after couple of day’s working I manage to create something that suits our needs!
Some more photos of our wax works that supposed to be our future models of Roman’s legion standards in scale 1:1!

Thanks Lessa
We are working mostly with dental technician prosthetics wax.
My twin brother has the responsibility for casting procedure.
And this is how the future Roman standards will look like!
We are doing this not for business but for our legion.
