Historic Fort Stevens IV
#1
All,
there will be a gathering of Romans and Celtic Peoples at historic Fort Stevens Oregon, a turn of the 19th Century Coastal Artillery Fort.

The event will take place on the 26th and 27th of September.

This will be a event open to the public and participants are expected to be knowledgeable of their impressions and the cultures that they represent as they can be expected to interact with the public.

Camping and parking fees are waived for re-enactors. Fires in pits or in braizers are permitted and there is potable water within easy walking distance and modern clean latrine facilities as well.

Modern restaurants are located only a couple of miles off the park boundary.

For information please contact the Centurio at [email protected] as well as the following web sites:

I hope you have a safe, and enjoyable event. Don't forget the wet weather gear. Just might rain....

David,
a great reminder on the wet weather gear. Not only will be bringing it, I will be bringing some extra kit as well for those that forget or have not yet acquired theirs.

Greg,
Its shaping up to be a great event and our Celtic Allies will also be attending as I have been in good communication with them. We may have additional members from one other group and I am meeting with them next week at lunch on Campus.

Weather looks to be great and our Celtic Allies will be joining us.

In addition, a few of us will have the Roman Camp set up Friday night, to include fires lit so not only can you find us, but that you have a place to crash for the weekend. We will also have modern tentage in the event of overflow away from the site.

Expect some traditional Roman food Saturday and Sunday.
