Yes another new book on ancient Rome, this one about the fall of the Republic. Let's see now, how many does that make...?
Even so, it may offer new insights although that would be a tall order given all the pages already written about this period in history. (With the exception perhaps of World War Two, does any other period in history have as many books devoted to it than that from the birth of Julius Caesar to the rise of Augustus?)
