The crossed dolphins occur more often. I don't see why this has to be an emblem for th Cl.Ger. (commenting on the museum sign).

I have seen a shield decorated in an Osprey book depicting a
Macrommannic war centurion with dolphins too.... I have wondered if there was and provenance for that too....Nice design though!
