Caligula was dead on accurate on three things:

There was an Emperor named Tiberius.

There was an Emperor nicknamed Caligula.

There was a Roman Empire.

Beyond that I dont think there was much else. I saw it while I was an undergrad at the disreputable cult film place just off campus. You might get a cleaned-up version from some underground film specialist, or try your local porn store. However, as my History professor remarked, it was not even good porn.
