look at the photos from Bonn; You see two rivets between hostis & deleta I thinke there is one half stair, the ground stair has to be a full stair, I reconstructed it with one half stair (removable) at the upper back seam, one half stair riveted between hostis & deleta and the full stair riveted tothe backside between the two large pattern groups.

The Museum Bonn didn't answer my requests

Thanks very much for the link, wish me luck tracking down more information! Also, please do post a translation of your tutorial. My German is practically non-existent so seeing an English version would be a great help.
