It is apparently true that the economy of a EC winner has an additional boost of 2%. I favor Germany.

For the benefit of the other members of RAT: Jona's statement does not normally make sense. Dutchmen are supposed to be rabidly against German soccer victories. It only makes sense according to the theory that if the German economy grows the EU economy grows and especially the Dutch one.

If my head weren't attached to my shoulders, I'd forget that as well.

Anything else I can do for you. What a game that was. Sure made the Italy/Spain game look like a bunch of non players. I thought the Turks were going to force an overtime then a shoot out. Best game I've watched so far. I'm told I have to be a neutral for tomorrows game. Jon R.

Wohoooo! WHAT A THRILLER. My heart stopped beating around 20 times during the game. It could have gone either way.
I have great respect for the Turkish team, they played head to head with Germany despite their banged up roster.

YES YES
great game. Hurray for Turkey, hurray for Germany. I hope Russia kicks Spain out so I can enjoy Germany-Russia.

Germany get away by the skin of their teeth!!Quite an enjoyable game and fair play to the brave, brave Turks for giving it a right lash.If trophies were given out for guts, determination and heart these guys would be champions!!Though Lahms goal was worthy of winning any game! Some finish hock:

Seeing the way Germany reached the final, with only one really great match, and seeing how Spain did it, I think there's a fair chance that the new European Champion will be a Mediterranean country again.

Never, ever underestimate the Germans.Remember this is supposedly their weakest side ever. We've seen spanish sides implode before though i do understand why youre saying what you are.Let the final whistle decide!!
