A friend of me writes his PhD thesis about the roman Optio! After sculpural evidences the Hastile must be as long as the Optio (i´m nearly 2m tall, and so i have a very long staff!). And there is another sign of his rank, the Fingerring.

I'm very interested to read his thesis, when he has finished it. Will it be available online somewhere or would he be willing to mail it to me?
Reading German is no problem for me.

I think he want to publish it as a book, but he has so much work with this thesis that i hear not really often from him :?
