While I doubt that any hammer can be attributed to actually having been used for such a purpose, the following two books are always handy when it comes to Roman tools (I'm sure you can get at least one of those through a decent library):
W. H. Manning. Catalogue of the Romano-British Iron Tools, Fittings and Weapons in the British Museum. London 1985
Wolfgang Gaitzsch. Eiserne Romische Werkzeuge. British Archaeological Reports 1980
by the same author, on a smaller scale and with less items:
