Re-enacting Insurance!
#1
Quite simply, are there any good policies available?
Visne partem mei capere? Comminus agamus! * Me semper rogo, Quid faceret Iulius Caesar? * Confidence is a good thing! Overconfidence is too much of a good thing.

Doesn't your normal life insurance cover such things?

   I doubt it! We are expected to wrap our selves in cotton wool and do nothing usually to satisfy most policies! (ok slight exaggeration)
But i was thinking along the line of insurance that covers kit and any possible liability towards the public.

This group is excellent at re-enacting insurance- specialising in about 1977, I think...really authentic....

Are you sure they aren't authentic insurance people, tha tkit is pretty expensive looking, far beyond the scope of your average re-enactor.... :?

No , definitely insurance re-enactors. Look, not one of them can agree what colour the tunics should be...

Glad more folks are becoming familiar with the facinating world of insurance reenacting. I currently portray an actuarial, but hope to finish my kit as a claims investigator. Anyone make those cool hardhats? So I can recreate construction site liability investigations.

Already have the authentic plastic briefcase (don't drool) and the liesure suit. Smile

OSHA approved, or pre-OSHA? The suspension isn't the same for them. Front visor, or full brim? It depends on the year, and the county or origin.

Andy, I can put you on to a very accurate Clone Mac - yes, they made them. Don't let the "experts" try to dissuaide you here. It is in my basement, in fact.

David, pre-OSHA of course. Too many groups go with the plastic kind with the front visor, but the full visor ones are way cooler. I want on of those silver aluminum full brimmed ones, hopefully with an authentic patriotic flag sticker (museums sometimes put them on display, but they are pretty rare).
