I don't know any details on archeology-stuff around there, but Velzeke, Tongeren and Wervik are some of the important places.

I think the museum of Köln in Germany is also worthwile, The city of Trier also in Germany. Not too far away from the border of Belgium.

The museum at Oudenburg (A castellum) will be worth a look too, when it re-opens after reworking it.
