Roman carnelian ring

Hello,

I have made a carnelian ring for my dear wife, Carme/ Galla Placidia:



It's made of silver and carnelian, not based in a specific found, but in generic roman fashion rings.

I have even tailed the carnelian gemstone to give the cabochon shape.

A Mars figure is engraved, but is dificult to see it in the picture.

A rest on military equipment making.... :wink:
